Rent-To-Own Condos At Suburban Clocktower Pointe

July 30, 2010 - If you’re shopping for rent-to-own suburban Chicago condos, you may want to consider the 18 unit Clocktower Pointe development in western Countryside. The developers of this suburban Chicago real estate project, the Conneely Group, are leasing the condos and giving renters the option of having half of their monthly rental apply towards the eventual purchase of that condo. Chicago Magazine reports that even though this project wasn’t originally intended to be a rental development, Conneely plans to construct the rest of the Clocktower Pointe complex this year.

Of the 18 condos in the first building at Clocktower Pointe there are just 4 that aren’t already leased. According to the article, all of remaining units are two bedroom floor plans. There are two of the condos that are up for sale for $459,000 each or for rent at $2,000 per month. Another of the remaining condos is priced at $445,000 and is available for rent for $2,000 per month.

The largest unoccupied condo is a penthouse unit with what the article describes as, “an enormous terrace and extra-large rooms.” This condo’s asking price is $700,000 and the monthly rent is $3,500. One indoor parking space is included with the condos.

You can find other suburban Chicago condos like those left at Clocktower Pointe by checking the Chicago real estate listings regularly.
