September 8, 2010 - Every so often we like to branch out a little and take a look at some developments that aren’t the typical downtown Chicago real estate projects that we usually talk about. In Des Plaines, Lexington Park is a townhome development built by Lexington Homes. In a recent press release, the developer is advertising price reductions on four of the townhomes that are completed and ready for occupancy.
There are 120 townhomes in this development, so buyers have quite a few floor plans to pick from. The homes have two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Right now, according to a recent press release, the townhomes are priced from $229,990. Buyers will also receive from $8,000 to $25,000 worth of upgrades as the currentive incentive.
The Bristol model has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,605 square feet. This Chicago home has stainless steel appliances, laundry closet, granite counter and vanity tops, ceramic kitchen and bath tiles plus wood cabinets. It is priced from $247,990.
The Warrington model also has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths but is a bit larger with 1,758 square feet of living space. Features include a breakfast bar, den, hardwood flooring, ceramic bath tile, and stainless steel appliances. The price starts at $256,000.
If you’re looking for immediate delivery suburban or Chicago homes for sale, then Lexington Park in Des Plains may be worth visiting.
